Our Client is looking for a career driven Development Manager to join there Innovative and Dynamic Software Development Management team. Our client is a leading Australian and Global Software Vendor and  Solutions provider.

• BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience working in the software industry with the most recent 3+ year in a development lead/manager role and delivering of software releases on-time and to budget.
• Strong technical background with extensive software design and development experience in ASP.NET/C# and with Microsoft tools and technologies.
• Experience with the full SDLC and implementation of at least 2-3 large enterprise products.
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
• Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
• Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have experience in managing and working with distributed team member.
• Directly supervises Team Leads, including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities.

• Manages department and overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources.
• Define, implement, manage development methodologies
  Proven track record in attracting the best engineers and mentoring senior talents
• Develop and manage metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
  Implements ongoing improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.
• Manages the planning and execution of development efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.
• Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
• Works with Project Managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for development related projects and other activities such as software deployment and customer integration.
• Assures the viability, functionality and effectiveness of essential tools.
  Anticipates program release problems and takes corrective action, escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve commitments.
